Hi — I’m the Maker Behind Sisters of Sawdust
I’ve always loved two things:
building and preserving.
Historic homes have a kind of soul — the details, the craftsmanship, the uniqueness that can’t be replicated with mass-produced materials.
But over time, the very features that make these spaces special are often the first things to break, disappear, or become impossible to replace.
Where Preservation Meets Innovation
When I was introduced to 3D printing with wood filament, I immediately wondered:
What if this technology could help restore historic architecture?
What if we could recreate a carved detail that had been lost to time?
What if homeowners and preservationists had a new way to repair irreplaceable woodwork — without sacrificing authenticity?
That question became the foundation of Sisters of Sawdust.
My Mission Today
Sisters of Sawdust exists to help:
Homeowners
Contractors
Architects
Preservationists
Restoration professionals
restore and reproduce one-of-a-kind architectural details with care and accuracy.
Our work helps ensure that historic structures — and the craftsmanship within them — can be preserved for generations to come.
